Switching Off to the World: Silence, Dark, and Inner Self-Reliance
I close my eyes
I close my ears
I close my mouth
To this world.
Everything switches off!
And I become aware
Of another reality
A reality within
A reality which is inside and outside.
A world of quiet and silence and dark, deep dark.
I carry it around with me
It is part of my being
I am part of my being.
There’s nothing to depend on
There’s nobody to lean on
In this, or any world.
We have to rely on ourselves
That’s really how it is.
