Not Living up to Anyone Else’s Expectations
Masks across the Room and the Vulnerability of Being Real
You look across the room to me
I wonder what you want me to be
You’re wearing such a strange mask
What do you want, may I ask?
You say you’d like to find true love
But you never told me how you are
You never give me any clue
As to what or how you feel
And then you ask me
If I believe you are real.
